• Welcome!

Welcome to the Figure Skating Club of Omaha (FSCO), serving the greater Omaha metropolitan area. FSCO is a US Figure Skating member club. Our skaters participate in many events sanctioned by US Figure Skating. FSCO was established in 1939 on the flooded tennis courts of the Omaha Country Club. Today, FSCO is one of the oldest skating clubs in the United States whose membership includes both youth and adults. FSCO's home rink is located at Motto McLean Ice Arena in Hitchcock Park.

NEW FSCO Ice Coupon Pricing

FSCO is making some changes to our coupon policy this year. Instead of selling 45 minute coupons, we will now be selling 1 hour coupons. The longer coupon length will encourage skaters to practice for longer periods without the hassle of using more than one coupon for payment. In addition, there will also be a cost advantage to skaters, because the new 1 hour coupons will cost $11 each, instead of the current $12 price for an hour session. Also, our new coupon sheets will be sold in sets of 5 coupons for $55, instead of a sheet of 10.

The change from 45 minute coupons to 1 hour coupons will proceed as follows:

September 1-30, 2015: you may use your remaining green 45 minute coupons.  You may also choose to apply the full value of any green 45 minute coupons toward the purchase of new orange 1 hour coupons, if you wish.

October 1, 2015: the green $9 coupons will no longer be accepted for payment in the club ice book.  Only the new orange one-hour coupons may be used to skate on club ice. However, you can turn in your remaining 45-minute coupons to a club coupon representative to receive the full value of the old coupons toward the purchase of a new sheet of one-hour $11 coupons. Andrea, Hiroko, Jeff, and Laura can assist you with trading in your old coupons for new ones.

January 1, 2016: Your green 45 minute coupons have no value, and can no longer be turned in towards the purchase of orange 1 hour coupons.

The blue coupons worth an additional 15 minutes of freestyle ice will remain the same cost of $3 per coupon. So if you wish to skate longer than one hour, use as many blue coupons as you wish to pay for your extra ice time.

If you have any questions about the new FSCO coupon policy, please don’t hesitate to contact any FSCO board member. Thank you for continuing to support FSCO and FSCO club ice.  Without your support, we couldn’t continue to offer the best ice and the best programs at the best rink in town!

Therefore, the new price structure effective October 1, 2015 will be:

New coupons will cost $11 each; $55 for a sheet of 5

60 minutes = 1 orange coupon ($16 walk-on)
75 minutes = 1 orange coupon + 1 blue coupon ($19 walk-on)
90 minutes = 1 orange coupon + 2 blue coupons  ($22 walk-on)

Coupons may be used on any FSCO club ice freestyle session.  New coupons are now available for purchase from Jeff Dickinson, Hiroko Kawamitsu, Andrea Williamson, and Laura Stannard, or ask for assistance from any FSCO board member.
