On Saturday, September 6th, FSCO will hold a special celebration to commemorate our 75th anniversary! Our club was initially formed on the flooded tennis courts of Omaha Country Club in 1939, making FSCO one of the most established figure skating clubs in the country. This event will be attended by members both past and present as we celebrate the club’s accomplishments. Part of our special celebration will include a silent auction of various items, and we are currently accepting donations for this event. Because our club is a non-profit organization, all donations will be tax-deductible. If you would like to assist the club by donating an item, gift card, or service for our auction, please contact Gail Craig or Christine Jacobsen. We would like to receive these donations no later than September 3rd.
Also, if you have not yet RSVP’d for our anniversary party but would like to do so, please email Mary Eliasson by August 25th. Thank you!

The Figure Skating Club of Omaha is excited to offer Saturday Specialty Classes again this coming season. Our Specialty Class program is a rotation of classes covering spins, jumps, edges, figures, endurance/cardio, and more. This program is geared toward skaters High Beginner and above that have progressed beyond the Rising Stars program but would like to continue training in a group setting. Specialty classes will be instructed by FSCO Senior level coaching staff.
The Saturday Specialty Class will be scheduled for Saturdays, 7:30-8:00am, for the months of October 2014 through March 2015 (6 month season.) To ensure the club can continue to provide this special program to our upper level skaters, we are offering this program as a pre-paid class. FSCO will need a minimum of 10 pre-paid skaters to be able to offer our Saturday Specialty Class. Registration forms and payment must be received by August 2, 2014 so the club can move forward with reserving the ice time for this much needed program.
Please direct any questions to our Skating Director, Andrea Williamson, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
