Memorial Day holiday schedule

Just a reminder that on Monday, May 27th, we will not have club ice due to the Memorial Day holiday. Our regular schedule will resume with morning club ice on Tuesday, May 28th, and our Learn to Skate summer session will begin on Monday, June 3rd. Have a safe holiday weekend!

FSCO Summer programs

Looking for a way to escape the heat?  Summer is the perfect time to take ice skating lessons!  We offer Learn to Skate classes on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 to 11 a.m. for ages 3 through adult.  Registration is open now:

For our more advanced skaters, our Summer Camp schedule is now available. From June 3rd through August 9th, Club ice will be available from 6 am-10:15 a.m., on-ice classes will be available from 10:15-10:45 a.m., and off-ice classes will be available from 10:50-11:35 a.m. For class descriptions, pricing, and further details, download our Summer Camp brochure.

Important: no freestyle ice or classes on February 9th or 23rd

Due to a hockey tournament on February 9th and a figure skating competition on February 23rd, FSCO will not have any freestyle ice, Learn to Skate classes, or Rising Stars classes held on either of these two Saturdays.

Holiday Ice Schedule

The Club freestyle ice schedule during the holidays will remain the same with the following exceptions:

  • Monday, December 24 – morning Club freestyle ice from 5:30-9 a.m. only (no evening freestyle ice or Learn to Skate)
  • Tuesday, December 25no morning freestyle ice
  • Wednesday, December 26 – no morning freestyle ice
  • Saturday, December 29 – morning Club freestyle ice 8:00-10 am only  (no specialty, Learn to Skate, or Rising Stars classes)
  • Monday, December 31 – morning Club freestyle ice 5:30-9 a.m. only (no evening freestyle ice or Learn to Skate)
  • Tuesday, January 1 no morning freestyle ice

Winter Weather cancellation policy for Learn to Skate classes

The FSCO Learn to Skate Program follows the Omaha Public School winter weather cancellation policy. If OPS cancels school due to winter weather, FSCO will not hold classes that day. Notification for Saturday class cancellation will be announced on the major television channels and on the FSCO club information line (896-5747). We do not offer make up classes or refunds for weather related cancellations.
