The Figure Skating Club of Omaha is excited to offer Saturday Specialty Classes again this coming season.  Our Specialty Class program is a rotation of topics covering spins, jumps, edges, figures, endurance/cardio, and more.  Specialty classes will be instructed by FSCO Senior level coaching staff.

To ensure the club can continue to provide this special program to our upper level skaters, we are offering this program as a pre-paid class.

Program details:

Class Prerequisites- This program is geared toward skaters that have progressed beyond the Rising Stars program, but would like to continue training in a group setting, which is No-Test (Ltd. Pre-Preliminary) and above.  Skater’s must be landing the lutz jump and working on the axel.  Must be able to accomplish scratch spin, sit spin, and camel spin.

The specialty classes are scheduled for Saturdays, 8:00-8:30am for the months of September 2016 through March 2017 (7 month period).  We will be offering approximately 27 classes during this time, taking into consideration class cancellations due to competitions and other rink events.  You must pre-register/pre-pay for a minimum of 25 classes. The pre-paid cost per class is $9 and the walk-on fee is $13 per class.  If you wish to do additional classes, those can be paid for the day of class at the pre-paid rate of $9.  Refunds will not be given, with the exception of injury and doctor’s notification, at the discretion of FSCO.

Registration forms and payment must be received by September 1, 2016 so the club can move forward with reserving the ice time for this much needed program. You may pay in full or by semester (see registration form for details.)

Please direct any questions to our Skating Director, Andrea Williamson, at twocoach@cox.net. Thank you!
